HISTORY
The Bushman Heritage Museum
For thousands of Years the /Xam Bushman lived in the Great Karoo. Within 250 years of the coming of the Dutch and English settlers, they had been driven into extinction. But they had a profound understanding of the creation of the sun, moon, and stars, and world. Their stories are startlingly relevant in our current times of environmental catastrophe. They were saved by a sort of miracle, in a manuscript that has been studied and interpreted in giant tapestries and the Bushman Heritage Museum for twenty Years by Bushman descendants.
