The charming Dam Huis is situated on a spacious piece of land, with a stunning mountain view.  Die Dam Huis offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with concrete floors, exposed brick walls and a wood burning stove for the cold winter months.

The living room has a sofa and a king size daybed with stacking doors opening onto the patio area.  The open plan kitchen is well-equiped and the dining room has a table with four relaxing Malawian chairs.  There is a four-seater bench on the patio where you can enjoy al fresco meals with the mountain view and a working windmill in the background and the braai facility nearby.

The bedroom has a double bed, standing mirror and open cupboard with a standing fan for hot summer days.  The bathroom has a big walk-in shower, toilet and basin.

Die Dam Huis is perfect for travelling couples, solo travellers or small families who want to experience the tranquility and charm of the Karoo.  It is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood within walking distance of the centre of the village where you will find restaurants, general store, art galleries, the Owl House and bookshop.

Die Dam Huis is a wonderful place to relax and unwind while enjoying the beauty and diversity of the quiaint village of Nieu-Bethesda and the Great Karoo region in the Eastern Cape Province.

Sleeps up to four guests:  double bed in the bedroom and king size daybed in the lounge area.  Wood burning stove for cold winter days.  Outside braai area. Kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave oven, toaster, kettle for making coffee and tea, washing machine. Wi-Fi available at various restaurants in the village.
