Doornberg Guest Farm lies nestled in the heart of the Sneeuberg mountains, just 9 km outside Nieu-Bethesda with its well-known Owl House. Relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Karoo. Go birdwatching or hiking or just curl up in front of a log fire on a cold winter evening. Doornberg is a working sheep and cattle farm with many fields irrigated by mountain springs, and Peet van Heerden is the sixth-generation owner of this magnificent family farm. Doornberg GuestFarm is an old established working Karoo guest farm and is the picture-perfect dwelling to relax and revitalise.

Accommodation consists of a big Guesthouse, Rondavel, Stable flat and renovated Schoolhouse.

The guesthouse has 4 bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms of which 2 are en-suite, a big sunroom/lounge with fireplace and outside braai facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge and microwave and a separate dining room. Bedrooms are equipped with linen and bath towels.

The Rondavel is adjacent to the guest house with an open plan bedroom with a double and one single bed as well as a small kitchenette and en-suite bathroom.

The Schoolhouse and stable flat are both open plan facilities with a double and 2 single beds. Kitchens equipped with stove, microwave and fridge and en-suite bathrooms with shower only.
